About WilsonStudios
|
|
WilsonStudios
is a country studio owned by Tom and Jan Wilson. Tucked away
in the northwest hills of Connecticut, our studio style replicates
the casual and natural environment in which we live. It is our goal
to work with our portrait clients so the captured images are both
pleasing and natural. We take a different philosophy than many studios
in that we are not interested in numbers or clients and rigid schedules.
We schedule less clients and spend more time with each. We believe
that one cannot look natural in a portrait without time to become
comfortable and familiar with the camera and the process. We want
our clients to have fun!
At
WilsonStudios our focus is primarily on family, children, wedding
and high-school senior portraiture. We also offer commercial work
and corporate imaging so the corporate executive can look professional
when using advertising images. For the corporate client, All
portrait images are retouched so all members in an image will look
their best.

To
help with the process, and to offer a diversity in the final imaging,
we have a variety of natural environments at our studio. We have
perennial gardens, a foliage garden, a shaded hosta garden, arbors,
rock walls, split rail fences, a formal pergola and a goldfish pond
on our premises. We are always developing new settings as well. Because
these are all available right here, there are numerous outdoor possibilities
without additional time or location fees. It is a "win-win" situation.
|
| We
also have our indoor studio as well, so portraits can have a more
formal or traditional look if that is preferred. In our indoor studio,
we use both natural window light and formal studio lighting, combined
with a variety of backdrops and props for endless possibilities.
It is not uncommon to work in both outdoor and indoor settings during
the same photo session. |

In
addition to our studio, we have unlimited use of the Bellamy-Ferriday
House and Gardens. Located in the center of Bethlehem it is walking
distance from our studio and gives us additional opportunities to
photograph you and your family. The Bellamy has a French formal,
which is considered one of the best in the east, a lovely porch with
pillars, fields and outbuildings, all of which give us almost unlimited
possibilities. |
